ABOUT BAYSHORE Bayshore has seen many changes in its 30-year history. Started on September 10, 1985 by brothers-in-law Doug Vanderpool and Duane Remmenga, we have grown from a small two-man operation into a thriving addition to our Anacortes community.

Things quickly took off, and Doug and Duane had to move from their 2000 ft2 rented space behind Skagit Bank to our current location on 6th & Commercial, in the old J.C. Penney building. A few years later, they were able to purchase and renovate the building next door to increase our ability to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
